Situated just minutes from the hotel, Les Capellans stadium offers 4 hectares of sporting facilities. The golf course is also a 10-minute drive from the hotel. For the fittest of our guests, the 2784-metre summit of the Canigou might be the perfect challenge!

Traditional French markets in Saint-Cyprien offer local produce and crafts. Boat trips along the beautiful Côte Vermeille depart regularly from the port.

Discover Catalonia’s thriving art scene by visiting Collioure, known for its Fauve art, or the modern art museum in Céret. The Pyrénées Orientales département also boasts many natural treasures that you will discover as you visit the coast. Don’t miss Roussillon’s marine reserve, stretching along 6.5 km of coast between Banyuls-sur-Mer and Cerbère.

  • Les Aigles de Valmy (eagles in flight) in Argelès-sur-Mer, 60 minutes of airborne ballet. The park is open all year round, the show is held at 2.30 pm in low season and at 2.30 pm and 4 pm in high season. Prices: Adults 8.50 EUR and children 6 EUR.


  • Estoher Snail Farm – visit the farm.


  • San Sebastian Farm in Toulouges – come and see our farm animals, open every day from 9 am to midday and from 2 pm to 7 pm. Costs 2 EUR per person.


  • Casteil Animal Park – come and see animals from all 5 continents living in their natural habitat. Open every day from 10 am to 6 pm in the summer, open on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm in the winter. Prices: Adults 8 EUR, children 6 EUR and under 3s free of charge.


  • Sigean African Safari Park between Narbonne and Perpignan. Spend 2-3 hours looking at African animals, first from a car and then on foot. Open every day from 9 am.





  • Canet en Roussillon Aquarium with 350 different species – aquatic fauna from all 5 continents seen from the Mediterranean. Open all year round from 10 am to 6 pm and from 10 am to 8 pm in July and August. Prices: adults 5.90 EUR and children 3.80 EUR.


  • Banyuls sur Mer Aquarium – discover the Marine Nature Reserve which presents over 200 species that live in the Mediterranean. Open all year round from 9 am to midday and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

  • “Mont OZ’Arbre” adventure park in Prats de Mollo – discover the forest from above and experience thrill upon thrill! We have three different trails, two zip lines, a climbing course with various man-made foot and handholds, plus canyoning and an aerial trail. In July and August the park is open from 9.30 am to 7.30 pm with the last starting time at 4 pm. The rest of the season the park is only open to groups, except at weekends when there is only one starting time at 2 pm.
    Prices: Adults 22.50 EUR, Juniors (under 18) 20.50 EUR, Children (under 1.40 m) 16 EUR, Children under 3 years of age 7 EUR.


  • Les Aventuriers de Saint Jean forest adventure park is in a beautiful setting by Saint Jean Pla de Corts lake. There are three trails – easy, intermediate and awesome. Zip across the lake for 150 metres and skim the water as you arrive – the thrill is yours for the taking. Open every day in July and August from 9.30 am to 8 pm.


  • Argelès Adventure and Canyoning in Argelès-sur-Mer. This forest adventure park has 77 workshops, 5 levels of difficulty, 1 Ouistiti trail (2 to 4 years), 2 children’s trails, 2 green trails, 2 blue trails, 1 red trail, 1 black trail and 2 Tarzan jumps. The Canyoning park offers 3 to 7-metre jumps, slides, abseiling down waterfalls, climbing nets, rope ladders and a 100-metre long zip line with a water finish. The park is open all year round from 10 am to 7 pm except in October when it is open from 2 to 6 pm. In July and August it is open from 10 am to 8 pm with a late opening until midnight on Tuesdays and Thursdays.


  • Tubing in Marquixanes – white water descent on large tyres for ten-year-olds and over. Experience thrills in a beautiful setting. Open every day from 11 am to 6 pm. Prices: under 12s 10 EUR, 12 and over 12 EUR. The price includes equipment hire for one hour; children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.


  • Sea Kayaking in Banyuls sur Mer - stable, fast and environmentally-friendly, the sea kayak is an ideal way to visit the rocky coastline. We have five different packages – Discovery, Evasion, Sunset, Trek and Bivouac priced from 17 to 60 EUR. Bring a swimming costume, T-shirt and water shoes. There are changing rooms, showers, a beach, an aquarium and playgrounds on site.



Caves and Gorges:


  • Fontrabiouse Cave, located five minutes from Les Angles. Visit underground galleries and bright rooms with the most magnificent concretions (stalagmites, stalactites, soda straws, hangings, columns, aragonite crystals and bouquets). Open to everyone, all year round. The temperature inside the cave is 6°C, the visit lasts about one hour.


  • Three caves at Villefranche-Corneilla-de-Conflent – three different but complementary visits within 500 metres of each other. The three caves are Les Grandes Canalettes, La Cova Bastera-Préhisto-Grotte and Les Canalettes. Visits begin every hour from 11 am right through to 6 pm. Bring a jumper – the temperature inside the caves is 14°C.


  • Galamus Gorges became a listed site in 1927. On summer nights, the hermitage is lit up and lends extra beauty to this special place. Over a distance of just a few kilometres you will learn how water and the limestone massif are linked.


  • The Fou Gorges at Arles sur Tech are open from 10 am to 6 pm every day from the beginning of April until the end of November. By following a walkway all along the gorges and protected by metal netting, families can safely visit this grandiose and legend-inspiring fault. The visit takes about an hour and a half.
